So in 2010 my girlfriend (now wife) and I started a photobooth rental business in Austin, TX (while running and operating other online businesses as well, which is why I don’t have much hair left). Anyways…
We hit the ground running launching our photobooth rental business and successfully carried out 120 paid events our first year!
It was awesome. We loved it. But it wasn’t easy.
We started with two booths and we did everything ourselves until we got so busy (about 60 days later) we built another booth and started to hire a team to operate the booths while we did the “business” stuff.
We were pretty fortunate though. We had a leg up because we brought a lot of business knowledge into the mix from previous online (and offline) experiences.
This helped us hit the ground running.

Since my wife and I started our photobooth rental business, we constantly reflect back on how much fun it was and how cool it was to capture our client’s happiness, while getting paid!
